Cheryl Petrulis
Cheryl founded Cayuga Country Homes with her late husband, Dean Vogel, in 1990. She is one of a select few builders in the country whoactually worked in a modular factory. Her experience in the factory quality-control department brings a uniqueunderstanding of the r
ealities of modular construction
As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and Certified Green Builder, Cheryl helps client get the most benefit from new construction and enjoy’s helping develop designs that consider the future needs of her clients.
Brooke Greenhouse
Brooke joined the Cayuga Country Homes team in 1991and fell in love with the excitement of helping clients build the home of their dreams. He is one of a select few Certified Graduate Builder’s, a select designation from the National Association of Home Builders that requires experience and demonstration of knowledge of home building.
Brooke is a well-respected authority on a variety of home building subjects and a resource to other builders. He was elected president of the New York State Builders Association in 2006 and continues to serve on the State and Local associations. He has taught classes to builders, participated in a number of charitable build projects and has been an expert for multiple NYS Attorney General “homeowner help” events.
Brooke brings enjoys finding creative solutions to meet client’s goals – incorporating the best practices in unique ways with a focus on energy-efficiency, universal design and green construction for the best use of resources.
Esther Greenhouse
Esther is a nationally recognized expert in enabling design of homes, buildings and communities. With a focus on Universal Design – design for all ages and abilities – she helps clients improve homes that they can live better in longer.
Esther is an award winning instructor for the National Housing Association of Home Builders (NAHB), teaching the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and Universal Design/Build courses. She has studied and taught design at Cornell University and joins our team to help with consultations on space planning, interior design, exterior design, color selection and design for aging in place/multi-generational homes.
