If you don’t know what your target budget is, we suggest you consider what you currently spend monthly on housing and utilities and then contact one of our preferred local lenders to get prequalified for a mortgage.
Keep in mind when setting your target budget that a new Cayuga Country Home will save you money on monthly utility bills, maintenance and repairs compared to an existing home.
Design Your Home
We’re a custom builder and provide in-house 3D computer design. You don’t have to settle for “standard” plans. We will learn what is important to you, offer expert suggestions, and create a plan just for you.
We will take you a virtual tour of your new home on our big-screen display to make sure it is just right.
Building Site
If you have land, we will meet with you to figure out the best placement of your home, any concerns, and site-development costs. If you are looking for land, we will help you pick the perfect spot.
Final Budget
Once we have a plan and know what your land requires, we develop a final budget.
We will also break-down options that you may want to consider to make your new home extra special and perfect just for you.
Homeowner Manual
Cayuga Country Homes will create your Homeowner Manual.
This is your personal guide to the building process, that includes the details in writing and guidance on what to expect during each step of the process.
Financing & Prepare for Building
Finish your mortgage application or setup your Trust Account if no mortgage.
We will take care of the building plans and permit applications to prepare to build.
Construction & Communication
Once financing is in place and color selections are made, we begin building your new home!
During construction, we will have regular on-site meetings so you can get your questions answered and enjoy the progress.
Here Are Your Keys
At the end of construction, we take you on an orientation tour. Teaching you how your new home works and confirming the work is complete to your satisfaction.
